Bonaforte's Peptide+ - Skin & Coat Care - 10KG
Peptide+ Skin & Coat Care — a complete grain-free adult diet created specifically to support skin barrier function and a soft, glossy coat, built on hydrolysed salmon peptides.
A dog's skin and coat are an immediate indicator of overall health. Canine dermatological disorders are recognised by vets as a major issue in small animal practice, with an estimated 15–30% of dogs worldwide affected by skin conditions.
75% of the owners who took part in the feeding trials reported improvements in their dog's skin and coat condition.

Freshtrusion™ HDP — the science behind Peptide+
Freshtrusion HDP is a unique process in which freshly prepared meat and fish are cooked in the presence of a natural enzyme that breaks the protein down into small peptides. The size of those peptides is what determines how well protein is digested and absorbed — when protein isn't absorbed properly, its nutritional value is lost.
The Goldilocks principle. You might assume whole, intact protein is best because it arrives with everything intact, or that single amino acids — broken down as far as possible — must be easiest to absorb. Research shows neither is true. Intact protein is too big, singular amino acids are too little, and the best digestibility and absorption rates occur in small-chain di- and tri-peptides. Just right.
The power of peptides for skin
Skin barrier function. Increased absorption of peptides ensures an ideal supply of the amino acid building blocks needed to synthesise keratin (in hair and epidermis), collagen and elastin (in the dermis) — the proteins responsible for skin strength, elasticity and barrier function. Collagen peptides have additionally been shown to increase collagen and elastin production, dermis thickness, hydration and elasticity.
Hypoallergenic peptides. Dermatological problems are often the result of a sensitivity or allergy to dietary protein. Hydrolysing the protein into small peptides makes a reaction very unlikely.
Skin & coat nutrition
- Borage oil — rich in omega-6 GLA, recognised for its beneficial effect on trans-epidermal water loss and skin barrier function.
- Soya oil — rich in omega-6 linoleic acid, important for the epidermal water barrier and for a soft, glossy coat.
- Salmon oil & algae — rich sources of EPA and DHA, shown to significantly improve pruritus, self-trauma and coat character.
Dietary allergy management
Fish proteins hydrolysed to low molecular weight peptides help avoid dietary allergy and sensitivity reactions, and the recipe is formulated without grains — ideal for dogs with grain intolerances and sensitivities.

Feeding & storage
Feed to appetite according to your dog's weight, age and activity level, adjusting to maintain ideal body condition. Introduce any new food gradually over 7–10 days, mixing an increasing proportion with the old food. Fresh drinking water should be available at all times.
Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal the bag after each use.
