Bonaforte's Selected Formula - 3 Flavours
Bonaforte's Selected Formula — a complete food for adult dogs, built on a single animal protein and wholesome grains.
Selected Formula is our limited ingredient range: one animal protein per recipe, gently cooked to protect the protein and bring out a fuller flavour, blended with freshly ground grains that are naturally high in fibre. It suits dogs with sensitive digestion and owners who like to know exactly what is in the bowl. Three flavours — Fish with Rice, Lamb with Rice and Turkey with Rice — each formulated without wheat, wheat gluten, dairy, egg and soya. Nutrition developed in our own Irish Wolfhound kennel.
What's in it, and why
- A single animal protein — one responsibly sourced, highly digestible protein source per recipe, to help support pets with sensitive digestion.
- Freshly prepared meat or fish — rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, and gently cooked to protect the protein.
- Rice — a healthy blend of brown and white rice, a rich source of fibre to help support optimum digestive health.
- Barley — an ancient grain and a great source of soluble fibre, which helps keep the intestinal tract moving smoothly.
- Oats (Turkey recipe) — a valuable source of sustainable energy, fibre and omega 6 fatty acids, which help support healthy skin and coat.
- Chicory extract — may help to maintain healthy gut bacteria and aid digestion.
- Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) — a prebiotic that supports the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
- Omega 3 supplement, linseed and alfalfa — for skin, coat and all-round condition.
- Hypoallergenic — formulated without wheat, wheat gluten, dairy, egg and soya.
Fish with Rice
30% total fish, including 11% freshly prepared white fish. White fish is a source of protein and vitamins B6, B12 and niacin, and of omega 3 fatty acids which may help support skin and coat health and healthy joints.

Lamb with Rice
34% total lamb, including 4% freshly prepared lamb. Lamb is a nutrient-dense, digestible protein source and a good source of vitamin B12 and iron, which are required to help keep nerve and blood cells healthy.

All dogs are different, so treat these guidelines as a starting point and adapt them to the breed, age, temperament and activity level of the individual dog — adjusting to keep your dog in ideal body condition. When changing foods, introduce the new food gradually over a period of two weeks. Fresh, clean drinking water should always be available.
